Ok SO I know it’s late in the month, but here goes last month, India!!
Well coming on the race, I was really worried about India. It was the one country that I really tried to avoid going to. I thought about other routes, but this one continued to stick out, and I thought many times “ well it is only a month, I could do it for a month”. For some reason I just really did not want to go to India.
God changed my heart immediately as I arrived in India. Although the ministry placement would not have been my first choice, I had a great month. It was not easy at all! It was probably one of my harder months. The ministry was to go out street preaching every day! So there were times where I wished I could be with the other teams in the orphanages (being the "baby whisperer and all), but again, I had a great month and wouldn’t have changed it!
I grew a ton this month. I grew spiritually and really found what the gospel meant to me. I had never really thought much about the gospel other than its “good news to tell all!” When you are speaking it everyday with a microphone on the street, you really start to understand it much more than that! SO this month I really got to dig in with God and learn the story, and how it fits with my story!
God revealed such a beauty and love for India to me. I didn’t think I was going to enjoy the country as much as I did. I even feel like it wont be the last time I see India 🙂
