I remember first arriving in Africa. We exited the airport and I couldn’t believe what I saw. I saw two rickety buses – our buses! To myself I thought, “Really, all of us and our LARGE amounts of stuff are going to ride in those.” Sure enough, that really was our mode of transportation!

Now I think about the countless buses, matatos and dala dalas we’ve been on throughout the past three months and it hardly phases me. Weird!

On one had I can’t believe Africa is finished and on the other hand I can’t believe it took this long to complete – I tell ya, time on the race is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced previously. As we head to India, I’m lost for words so I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
