It is an artistic interpretation/remix of the original Lifehouse "Everything" skit, a Youtube hit which you can watch here. I had never seen this skit until a couple of weeks ago, and the original instantly brought me to tears. So in order to share the message, we thought it would be cool to make our own version to share with you back home.
We have a God who created us and wants to walk and dance with us through life. But one way or another, Satan often steps in and steals us away from the true love of Jesus. Before we know it, we are romanced by Satan and sin. We turn our eyes to money, thinking life will be better if we could just build up a treasure for ourselves. When things start getting difficult, we turn to alcohol to ease the pain. We look at what the world tells us is beautiful, and beat ourselves up when we feel that we will never measure up. And as the world continues to tear us down, we lose more and more hope, and we turn to desperate measures to feel something – to feel anything. But as lost as we may get, as far as we may stray, there is someone willing to fight for us. There is someone desperate to get us back. There is someone who sacraficed it all for us. There is someone who wants to be our EVERYTHING.
