In May I graduated from Mississippi College with a degree in Foreign Language and International Trade. While in school, I was blessed with the opportunity to work with international students. This summer, I worked at the Mississippi World Trade Center as a summer Intern. I’ve always loved interacting with people from different cultures. This past June, I was able to go on a short mission trip to Haiti with a team of about 15 to put on a VBS. While I was there I saw God working not only in the people that we were there to minister to, but also in our team.

After finishing my internship in August, I struggled to find a good job and settle in to adult life. It turns out that God had others plans for me. My struggle in finding work wasn’t because I wasn’t qualified or unneeded, but because God had a better plan for me. For over a year now, I’ve been praying over the decision to go on a mission trip called the World Race.  About a month ago, everything started to fall into place and I heard God saying that the time had come to go.
