Oh, snap! I’m going MIA for a month.

This travel day is already proving to be quite taxing and quite exhausting and we haven’t even met up with the Squad yet!

Basically here is what happened so far:

Our last day at Gua Musang was crazy! We had to be packed up and out of our hotel by 12PM. I had to work on final projects. I had to go to the store and get snacks for travel. We had a final meeting with our amazing contacts and got gifts and gave gifts and spoke life to each other and gave hugs. I had one final class to teach … we had a dance/karaoke party for the last 45 minutes, it was the most fun I have had on the Race. I had to say some really hard goodbyes to my most favorite class. Seriously. Then our contacts came back and we had to say our for real goodbyes early because they had another guest to attend to last night. Then we went to a birthday party/free dinner at our favorite cafe, QQ. Then I played Skype tag with my mom for 45 minutes before finally getting to talk to her for a few minutes. Then at 9:30pm we had to load up the van. We went to the train station and said goodbye to our friend Eli as we boarded our train about 10:45PM.

Then travel began … 10:45PM to 10:30AM train from Gua Musang to Kuala Lumpur (2 hours long than the train ride there) … 11AM – 11:45AM took 2 buses and went around in circles with our packs and daypacks on public transportation to the mega mall. We met a really nice information desk lady who let us store our big packs in a storage room so we didn’t have to take shifts waiting with it in some back hallway, perk! So for about 5 hours now we have been at the mall, we meet up in 30 minutes to get public transportation back (taking the train this time). Then we have to get bus tickets to ride about an hour to the KL International Airport where we will meet up with our squad about 8PM!

Then the real travel days begin … starting with our second airport slumber party, plane to Hong Kong, China in the morning … then various other forms of transportation between Sunday and Monday when we arrive at our final train station to board our 24 HOUR train ride to our location for the month.

China as you know is not an open country when it comes to what we do, so we’re headed in as tourists and won’t be allowed to use the internet for the month to protect our contact’s. We have 2 weeks of ministry then debrief around Bejing, China! With that being said, I am off the grid until UKRAINE at the end of March/beginning of April! Please keep leaving me comments and sending me messages to come back to, I would love that. Oh and pray for our travel … these long travel stretches can be crazy and exhausting!
