Today I stand a victor!
When I first began to pray about going on the World Race I had no idea what was coming my way. This past week I have been facing fierce opposition from the enemy. And it’s not like he’ll just take a break every now and then, but he is continually trying to bring me down. But I guess this could be expected because this is what scriptures tell us. Everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie….
” He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”
John 8:44
But here’s the catch! This has been no ordinary week.
On May 3 I met my first deadline of $6000 for fundraising. In fact I had a few hundred dollars more than that. And just a few days later I received a donation that has me set for my SECOND DEADLINE ALL THE WAY IN JUNE!!!!!!!! Can I get an AMEN? Yeah that’s right! I’m getting closer and closer to this race and all of hell is trembling because I am not the only one getting close. My teammates are meeting their deadlines and the funds are coming in and we are all gearing up for battle. That is precisely what we are going to be doing right? For nine whole months we will be waging war on the enemy and fighting back with truth and justice. We will be diving deep into the parts of the world that he tries to keep hidden. We will walk with an authority given to us only by the Blood of the Lamb, the One True God who will deliver us from all evil. With this we will show the world that there IS a love that lasts forever.
So today I stand a victor because by the power of The Lord Jesus Christ, satan must flee.
