Some changes that have been made so far on the race include a route change for our squad. Instead of going to Burma, we are now going to Laos for month 9. A team change also happened for my squadmate Elizabeth and I at the end of month 2.

A team called Restore Amor lost a member of their team, as this individual was called by God to go home early, leaving them with 4 members, which is too small to be a team. So the leaders all prayed about whom to add to this team. The Lord specifically told them to have Liz and I join them. This came as a huge surprise, but we were up for the change as God had ordained it.

The switch was hard for me at first because my old team the Water Fetchers and I had become so close; we got along really well, and we had become a crazy, happy little family. I was also looking forward to a month with just our team after having 2 consecutive all squad months. But the new team I was joining has some amazing women on it, and I was super excited to join them.

And I am happy to report that the switch has been great! Liz and I connected with our new team instantly, and we have been bonding and growing strong ever since. I know that this is where The Lord has me during this season for optimal growth. And it has been a month of retreat with The Lord, growing stronger in Him, and diving deeper into The Word. It has been awesome, and I love my new team so much. We have also given ourselves a new team name: team #waterbuffaloes!

Please continue to keep my new team, my old team, my squad, and myself in your prayers as we continue on our World Race journey. Pray that we would continue to be led by The Spirit, that we would be bold in our walk with The Lord, and that we would continue to be a shining light for Christ. Pray that we would run and not grow weary, and that we would be continuously filled up so that we can continue to pour out. Pray that we would be a blessing to all we meet. And pray that we would stay safe.

Thank you for all of your love and support!
