These are some of the precious kiddos I met and fell in love with
during our first softball camp. The first day they would just kind of
watch, fascinated by the Americans playing softball on their soccer
field. If we waved and smiled and said hi they would just get this
little shy smile and kinda run away. The second day they started coming
up to us more and trying to talk, and by the third day our van was
surrounded before we even had time to get out. These kids who seemed so
distant and cold would just melt as soon as you showed them love, and
they literally would cling to us!

Timothy
came with us and worked as a translator– he’s a baller!

After
doing the softball camp Monday through Thursday, that Friday we had a
free eyeglass clinic. We give out glasses and afterwards would just talk
to people, see how we could pray for them, and share the Gospel with
them. It was really neat!

These
are all the gifts that the girls gave me– it was so humbling because
they hardly have anything, and yet they all wanted to give us something
that was special to them!

These
are my girls–I miss them already!
