Something has happened
over the past few days at Passport Training Camp.
My heart has been
captured in way that I don’t ever think it has been before.
I’ve absolutely fallen
in love with the girls on my team.
The Lord is showing me
bits of what He’s doing inside of them, and it’s touching my heart in
the most tender way. I’ve seen change happen in them already.
The way that they love
and support each other after only a few days of knowing one another
blows me away. Their soft hearts and teachable spirits spur me on to
have a purer faith.
They’re in it to win it
I guess you’d say. There’s this hunger and thirst about them. They
want something more than what the world’s handed them, and they’re
willing to step out of their comfort zones and pursue the unknown.
I’m so pumped for this
next season has in store for us as individuals and as a team.
The Spirit has been
moving. Because of their teachable hearts they’ve given up some
things this past week. They’ve allowed the Lord to move in and do
things inside of them that they never even imagined. God has been
preparing them for this . He’s been preparing all of us for this
time. For today.
I feel overwhelmingly
blessed to be a part of this process. The Father has graciously
purposed for our lives to be intertwined. So much good fruit is
already being produced.
Even though I’m one of
their “leaders” I think I’m going to be the one running to keep
up with their passion!
God is so good and
faithful in all He does. I cannot comprehend His thoughts or the
plans that He has. All I know is that the 2 teams of women going to
India have answered His invitation to go to India. We’ve taken His
outstretched hand and chosen to dance a new dance with Him this
summer.
The key is being
willing to learn some new steps and maybe even trip in the process
but knowing that it will be well worth it in the end. When we’re all
dancing in beautiful unity with the Father it’s going to be
breathtaking.
So yeah, I’m pretty
crazy about these young women. I’m already proud of them for
pressing into the more that the Father has for them. I can’t wait to
see all that He’s going to do in these next 2 months and in the years
to come through them!
