It is day 7 of WR Training Camp.  It has been interesting to say the least.  How do I describe this experience??  Not quite sure.  It’s going to take some time to process all that has happened/is happening.  I will say that God is moving.  Even when I don’t feel Him, I can see Him moving all around me.

It’s amazing to be surrounded by so many people that are seeking after the Lord and wanting to serve Him.  Everyone has a story of God’s faithfulness.  God has a different story for each person’s life that He is writing.  We’re all at different points in our walk.

For me I feel kind of like I’m sitting back watching all that is happening around me.  Is this ACTUALLY about to happen?  Will I really go travel the world for 11 months and have the opportunity to share the hope of Christ with the hopeless?  It’s just so crazy for me to think about.

Things are still kind of jumbled in my mind, but I’d like to throw out a few quotes that have stood out to me over the past several days:

“He [God] is not interested in your comfort, but He IS interested in your character.”

“Jesus is perfect theology.”

“We are Plan A.”

“This isn’t just about getting people into heaven, but getting heaven into people.”

“Jesus never expected us to live our Christian life minus the Holy Spirit.”

“The more you speak truth, the more it resonates in your spirit.”

So yeah…a bit overloaded with spiritual and logistical information at the moment, but I’d like to leave you with a verse.

“Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.  Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.’”
Matthew 9:37 – 38

This verse stirs a passion in me to go.  I’d love your continued prayers in this process.  Be encouraged.  God is alive!
