"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
Ephesians 3:21-21
Let me begin this blog post by saying that God is awesome! He is faithful, and He provides in ways that we could never imagine.
Right now I am in the process of support raising. Not many people jump for joy at that phrase. I sent out an official support letter on February 14th and so began this part of the faith journey in connection with the WR. God is already providing! That should not be a surprise, but He has blown me away already with His provision! I will share 2 wonderful examples with you:
The first people to partner in God's work with me were a couple that I've never actually met. They heard about the the trip through one of my employers. They actually told my boss to tell me to write them a letter! I sent them a support letter and promptly received a $200 check! God is so good!
Just this week I discovered that a wonderful, godly family that I know partnered with me in the Lord's work with a $1,200 gift!!!! I was overwhelmed and didn't quite know how to react. One very cool thing with all of this and in connection with the large sum they donated is the fact that this family is in Christian ministry in the states and they live off of support! What a blessing from the Lord!
I am praising God for these gifts and all of the others that He has/is providing!! I've received a lot of positive feedback and am very encouraged with how the Lord is working.
Let me say that I do NOT want support raising to be about me. It's not about me at all actually. I am blessed to a part of the Lord's work and am trying to open up that opportunity to as many people as I can in hopes that they will catch the vision and be drawn to what the Lord is doing and in turn be a part of the team through prayer and/or finances.
I have heard that some people want to give but are not quite sure of how to. There are a few options actually. You can click on the Support link to the left of this blog and actually find out everything you need to know from there. The most efficient way to give (all of your money will go directly to funding the mission trip) is to mail in a check to AIM. There are instructions on how to do this through the Support link. You can also give by debit, credit or bank draft but keep in mind that a 3 or 5 percent charge will be deducted from your gift to cover a processing fee. This way is quicker. Whatever works best for you is what you should do! You also have the option of giving a lump sum or for signing up to give monthly!
Monthly donations can add up something like this…If 40 people gave $50 a month starting this month through June (that's 4 months) that would add up to $8,000!! Or is 50 people gave $20 a month for that same amount of time, THAT would add up to $4,000. It's pretty cool when you think about it like that!
Please feel free to email me at [email protected] with any questions or comments you may have about anything concerning the WR. I'll ge MORE THAN HAPPY to chat with you!
As of now I have I have $1,659 that has come in. Thank You Jesus!! I also have $1,000 in pledges. That leaves me with $12,141 to go. My goal is to be FULLY FUNDED by JULY 1ST. Can the Lord do it? Well, of course He can!! Please prayerfully consider what part the Lord would have YOU play in becoming a part of His ministry through this mission trip. I can't wait to see who will join in! God's going to do amazing things…actually…He already is!!
"May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who loved us and by His grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word."
II Thessalonians 2:16-17

P.S.
I've posted a song below. It's pretty much been my theme ever since I've committed to the WR. The Lord touches me every time I hear it, and I find myself singing it and worship the Creator when I do. He loves us so freely…Why should we hold back when it comes to loving others??
