God is Faithful
So while I’m 100 percent excited for the race, it’s been an extremely hard time fully settling in my mind that I’m going, or that God’s truly calling me to the January 2010 race!! It’s been an interesting process… but God is faithful and I’m trusting that he has called me here for such a time as this!! There are a few things that have just recently happened that I wanted to share with all of you!!
God is Faithful: The other night at Revival Town (our church wide prayer meeting) a lady came up to me and began praying for me… after she was done she proceeded to pull out her earrings which were a dangling key type shape. She then said that God had told her to give me her earrings and to tell me that hes so proud of me, for being obedient and for walking through every door he’s ever opened and unlocked for me. God is so good… even in the midst of struggle, he honors my willingness.
God is Faithful: While 13,800 dollars is a large sum of money, God keeps telling me: stop worrying, have faith in me, I will sustain you and be your ultimate supporter! And it’s crazy because I’ve randomly been receiving checks from people I hardly know… God is good, and I know he will provide!
God is Faithful: I finally feel an overwhelming peace about my decision!! In the beginning of the admissions process… I was nervous, worried, scared, and sad that I was possibly going to leave everything I know and love behind. I even second guessed my decision to go, because I wanted to stay where I was comfortable…. but I knew in the back of my mind God was leading me to the world race! And praise the lord because I finally have an overwhelming sense of peace, and comfort about my decision!!
God is Faithful through everything… Count on him… and he’ll carry you through!
