We were asked to write a blog about how we felt before leaving on this mission trip. Here is what I’m expecting…
I’m expecting:
- to be really home sick
- to miss my favorite foods
- to grow a ton spiritually, physically, and emotionally!
- to fall in love with people all over the world
- to have my heart broken for hurting people
- to want to return to many of the places
- for it to be hard
- to make amazing new friends
- to eat yucky food and not fully enjoy it 🙂 haha
- to not take showers, and feel gross lots of the time
- to feel uncomfortable
- to be really excited to go somewhere new but sad to leave people I’ve met
- to be fully broken
- to see miracles
- for God to move in me like never before
- to have the best time of my life!!
I’m expecting a whole lot from this trip, and believing that God is bigger then any of my expectations, and that he will do what he wants through me 🙂 !! My prayer is that he’d use me to my fullest :)!!
