To World Racers who have gone before:
Thank you for being such incredible examples of Jesus. Thank you for loving and serving your countries and communities so well.
In my las blog I wrote about our ministry at summer camp. During this week we have met several people who have encountered World Race teams and squads all over Bulgaria and in other countries. You have left an eternal Impact on the communities you have served in. They speak of each of you as one speaks of dear friends. They remember you names, where you are from, and tell us stories of what you did in their communities and lives. Whether you were just passing through or spent you entire month of ministry in Bulgaria Jesus shined so brightly through each of you. It has been really amazing to see.
Because of you our job here has been made easier. They hear we are World Racers and they immediately dive into conversation with us. They want to know all about us (where we are from? Where we are going?). They ask us about you (If we know you. How you are doing?). THANK YOU!
To World Racers currently in the field:
It sounds obvious but carry Jesus everywhere you go. Always be on the look out for opportunities to share Him and show His love. Stay connected to the Holy Spirit in every situation. Be mindful of you attitudes and facial expressions and the way things you say. You never know who is watching you. On the train, bus, in a coffee shop, or just walking around town, carry Jesus.
Your impact in the places you visit is eternal. What you do and say and how you act has a lasting impact on the communities you serve in and impacts the ability for others to serve in those same places. Even though you may be “off” of ministry doesn’t me that God is off bringing his children to him. There is always an opportunity to pray and show the love of the Father.
To Future Racers:
Welcome to the Family! Welcome to a community you will forever be apart of (I’m sorry and You’re welcome, but mostly you’re welcome). The Lord is moving. The harvest is ready and whole world is hearing his name more and more each day. Hearts everywhere are getting set free by his Love. People are coming into true relationships with Jesus not just rules to follow given to them by a distant god. You get to be apart of this! There is no small role to play in the Kingdom. Get excited! It is going to be so good because He is all in it.
