Our first week of ministry has been amazing. This week we have become a part of a small Gypsy community about 30 minutes from where we are staying in Varna. We have gotten the privilege to come to know and love the children of this community. They have taught us some Bulgarian and we have taught the a little English.

These children are full of so much life and joy. They love to sing and dance and run around. They are eager to learn. We have spent hours this week laughing, singing, and dancing. And The Lord is right in the middle of it.

God is moving in a huge way in the hearts of these children. They have so listened attentively as we have shared bible stories, songs, and testimonies with them. They have asked us questions and really taken in what we have said to them and God is moving. They have shared their heart, their feelings, and their lives with us over the last few days.

Last night we got the opportunity to attend a prayer service at the church in the village. Shortly after the service started to Lord told me to pray for these three boys. So I began to pray. I prayed that they would open more of their hearts to The Lord. That they would know Him more and come to see Him as a friend. That He would be as close to them as a brother. I prayed for the spirit to fill them and The Lord to use them now at a young age. I prayed that they would be lights in the community that they would bring people to Jesus.

As I prayed the Spirit laid another individual on my heart. This young man had been hanging around us all week. He never wanted to pray when we prayed and was never around anytime we talked about Jesus. He would always come late or leave. Except yesterday. Yesterday he cam in late when one of my teammates was sharing her testimony. The moment he entered the room my spirit felt something dark and heavy but after a few minutes there was a change. I sensed that their was some sort of oppression happening in him. This was later confirmed by another teammate when I shared with her what I was feeling.

So I began to pray for him. I began to pray that The Spirit would move in his heart. That The Lord would begin to break the things that were binding him and keeping him from surrendering to God. Back and forth I prayed for my sweet boys and this man. Eventually the teammate that confirmed my feeling began to pray for the man as well. And guess what?! These three boys began to pray so powerfully for this man. The Spirit completely took over these three boys all under the age of 10. They prayed on and off for this man for maybe 20 minutes. And guess what happened. The spirit of this man changed. He is open to hear the Gospel now. I don?t know if he accepted Jesus that night but I do that he is no longer bound. He got some freedom last night and it was evident in his face and his eyes. He interacted more freely with all of us. A seed has been planted and The Lord used children. I love that!

In Luke 18:16 -17 Jesus said ?Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the Kingdom of God. Truly I say to you who ever dose not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.? And in Matthew 18:3 Jesus says to his disciples ?Truly I say to you unless you turn and become like a child you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.?

These three boys were truly at the feet of the King last night on behalf of someone much older than them. They knew Jesus would bring healing and freedom so they asked and they believed and it was given. I was so blessed to be a small piece of this interaction. It was a joy and honor to watch this all unravel. Jesus is at work in this community and in this city. Please pray for the children of this Gypsy community. Pray that Jesus would grab hold of their hearts now and that they would know him now and be used for the kingdom now. Pray for boldness and courage. Pray for protection because the enemy doesn?t want these things to happen. He wants them to believe all the lies they have been told about themselves because they are gypsies. Pray for thee people who are pouring into this community that the spirit would fill them so they can continue to pour out. Pray for God to do the supernatural in all of their lives.

Pray also for me that I would continue to grow. This has been a awesome first week of ministry and I am so excited for us to what The Lord has in store for the rest of this month. Pray for our team that we would be united. That we would communicate and love each other well. Pray for our hearts to be broken for what breaks the heart of The Father.

Thank you to everyone who has been for me and also my team. Thank you for all of you have donate to get me to this point. I am truly humbled and blessed by you. I pray that The Lord would bless you tremendously for the generosity that you have poured out on me. Because of that generosity I am at 49% (a little under 8,000) funded. I need to have $11,000 in my support account by October 1, 2014 in order to stay on The Race. Please be praying for how you can help reach that goal.

Thanks again!
