The Philips Arena, home to the Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Thrashers, seats 17000 people. The Georgia World Congress Center seats 5000… Well January 1-4 every last seat was taken by 22,000 college students coming to gather for this event called Passion.

There are many times when I can feel I’m all alone, but that wasn’t the case here. When I looked around inside the Philips Arena and saw 16,999 other students, knowing that there were 5,000 more in another room, plus the 1,200 volunteers, I realized I’m not alone at all!! Students gathered from all over the world (literally!!) to attend this event for the one that truly matters.. God! It was an unbelievable sight.

So in the Bible there’s a guy named Paul. (You might know him. He wrote a few books in the New Testament.) Well before Paul met Jesus he was a leader in the persecution of Christians. In Philippians 1:1 who does it say the letter is from? PAUL! This guy who sat there and persecuted Christians! But the cool thing is God can do anything. We were all enemies and God chose to use us still.

I know for me sometimes I get down on myself because I screw up… A LOT! There are times when I just want to give up and give in. “If I’m a Christian then how come every day I seem to fall?” God won’t give up! He is putting it all in motion. What has happened to me has been for the greater use of the Lord. He’s never going to quit on the work he has started in you and me, even if we may quit. (Philippians 1:3-6) God doesn’t care about the short term material things, but what He does care about is you and me! We are free the moment we choose to unchain ourselves from circumstances/ things and chain our life to Christ. “I DO” to Christ; “I DON’T” to everything else! These circumstances have no power over us being completely free and fully alive!

What are you going for? What are you living for? This could be the year you change the world!!

If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.” -Matthew 11:39

The Plan: To live to the full! Alive in freedom
