Praise the Lord for rest!

It’s hard to believe that we arrived in Kiev, Ukraine a week ago already.  The Lord has blessed us with two beautiful, peaceful locations to rest and debrief the last 6 months with our teams, squadmates and coaches.  I have enjoyed a week of catching up with friends of various teams, connecting with family back home and taking in some of the sights Kiev has to offer.

This month, our team will be ministering in a village called Lugansk near the Ukranian/Russian border.  We will be living in rather “rustic” conditions with little electricity and no warm water.  Pray that we will stay warm as the temperatures here are definately a bit cooler than the temperatures we have grown accustom to in India and Africa.  This month our ministry will include helping to prepare the camp we will be staying at for summer programs later in the year.  We will also be partnering with and orphanage and doing a little evangelism in the surrounding villages.

Please continue to pray for me, the team and our squad as we go into this 7th month of ministry.  This month especially, pray for unity as we minister throughout Ukraine.  Some of our long term contacts have mentioned a spirit of division that they often find themselves facing, so we are asking the Lord to surround us with a spirit of unity.

I pray that the Lord is meeting each of you daily and that you continue to seek and run after Him.  Have a blessed Easter!  I love you.
