Right now I am going to tell you a story to hopefully encourage your spirit that one person truly can make a difference and the Lord is so willing to use us to pursue those He loves if we are only obedient and yielded to His will. That is exactly what happened in the story of Alex, a young boy who was taken in and sponsored and disciple by Micheal at the Isaiah Minstry. Alex comes from an imporverished family, and his parents had very little to offer him. Unfortunately in many Nicaraguan families, a lot of love is not given and received from parents either. Through the Isaiah Minstry Alex was able to find a sponsor that allowed him to go to school and get solid meals, having clothing needs met, and most importantly, come to know the truth of who Jesus Christ is. Now Alex is 17 years old and one of the kindest, most gentle men I have ever met. His heart is the size of Texas and he comes back to Isaiaih Minstry every day to help tutor the younger kids. Alex recently graduated at the very top of his class and will be attending engineering school in the fall. Our God is a God of restoration! He can do incredible miracles when we take those opportunities to reach out to others. You leave the footprints of Jesus Christ in the lives of those you encounter. Keep your God radar on all the time! You can make a difference when God is working through you.
