So I started training camp with what I thought were few expectations. I DID expect it to be hot, difficult, challenging. But when the reality hits, it’s a whole new thing. We did have the option to sleep in the cabin with the AC but I decided to use the tent & see what I like, what I don’t, better prepare for the year, etc. I’ve done community living dorm style plenty of times before but I’ve got limited camping experience. So, the first night was HOT, muggy (I think it is near 100 during the day & it rained right before dinner last night so SUPER humid). Let me tell you, I thought Cambodia was hot & humid…well, yes-it was, but this is so much more 24-7 (we had air-con at night in Cambodia). Ugh. I guess God is helping to prepare me for the living conditions for the next year.
