My team and I had a few days to rest in Nelspruit, South Africa so a few of us could see a doctor. While we were here, we were able to stay at a really nice ministry home (we had REAL beds!!!) that a previous world race team had visited. The first video was posted during Africa’s winter in June by Matt Snyder. The second video is our response…(and we in fact DID walk on water…well…kind of).
We are heading back out to the Swaziland bush today for the next two weeks. Please pray for safety as us four girls travel through the border (sometimes a little scary). We will be assisting the teams already there with a “Women’s Retreat” for all of the GoGo’s (grandmothers) who take care of thel orphans. The focus will be on hearing their stories and ministering to them. These women take care of HUNDREDS of orphans every day, so we hope to give them a few days of rest. Thank you all again for your prayers and support and please enjoy my team’s day of “walking on water!”
8 months ago a blog was posted claiming…
“So WE are officially the best World Race team
out there and perhaps THE ONE with the greatest faith, enough that
enables us to look like fools and walk on water. We’re a determined
team who knows that this can be done. This is the first of many
attempts. We see it as merely being practice. May God have all the
glory!” -Matt Snyder (Jan 08 Squad member)
