So we have officially arrived in Mexico City after two flights and a layover. We will then fly to cancun and get on a bus for 12 hours to get to Palenque. So far we know that we will be staying at a children’s bible school for our next session of training. It is VERY surreal to actually be here and to have begun this journey. I am both excited and anxious for what lies ahead. SOO many thoughts are racing through my head and it’s still hard to believe that I will be gone for 11 MONTHS!
I wanted to thank EVERYONE from the bottom of my heart for all of the support….the prayer, financial help, well wishes, and even just the hugs have been such a HUGE blessing. I am beyond humbled by all of the love and support that my friends and family have given me. I KNOW that I could not have done this without any of you. Every day leading up to the world race, I am continuously reminded of the kindness and love that God has surrounded me with in my life. Right now all I am able to do is send you a thank you note or a quick email, but please know that what all of you have done to help get me to this place is extremely appreciated, and will never be forgotten. I will be praying for you all as I embark on this journey.
