I opted not to buy myself souvenirs during this journey. God still made sure I had something to take, keep, and remember from each month I've spent with Him.
I researched the symbolic (spiritual & psychological) meanings of my gifts (Each item itself, colors, materials etc.) I also had guidance from above in finding the purpose for each items placement in my life at the time it was placed.

This comb was given to me by a Chinese police officer (Jack). He had protected us (blog coming soon"HIDING FROM THE POLICE") in exchange for English lessons. It is made out of Yak bone. I can think of one Yak I wouldn't mind being made into a comb (read "Dreams & Visions 2)

The Drawing was done by my friend Sonam while we ate our last meal together. He is very artistic and dreams of coming to America. He drew me a Dragon.

PERSONAL MEANINGS

COMB organizing and sorting thoughts… YES! This was the first time in my life I would start a detailed journal of my daily events. In a closed a country with no contact to home, It became my therapy and strength to talk to God through my writings. This is something I have tried to do the entire race and hope to continue when I am home. It's amazing to see how God moves and be able to share in detail with Family and Friends. Can't wait to share all when I am home.

Searching for elements that are not clear … Through my writings many things surfaced and became topics of issue in my life.  A dialog with God like I had never known began.

Preoccupied with appearance – this is an ongoing issue … It's hard being a girl. However being on the race has alleviated some of this … Maybe 😛 I also discovered during this time the things that most attract me to a man (looks is last on the list!)

BROWN –  worldliness, practicality, domestic bliss, physical comfort, conservatism, and a materialistic character.  I delved into each of these specific areas of my life in my journal (writings) Also represents the ground and earth. You need to get back to your roots. Getting back to God is my roots and the intimacy and level of communication I have achieved with Him during this month was most amazing.

DRAWING – I am very artistic (creative) and don't tend to express myself enough in this way.  Undecided decision or argument – Yes, there has been one on-going struggle between God and I for years over my hearts purpose.  I scratched the surface of this issue during this month. Would submerge more into it in the month of December.

DRAGON – Working on learning to control my fiery passions. Take things slow and let God. This started this month. Surrender my heart and passions to Him by giving them to Him first and foremost. Easier said than done …but I'm getting better with each forrest fire I cause 😛
