This month my team (Tikvah) and team Indelible are joining forces and ministering together at a church here in Phnom Penh called, New Life Fellowship.  The Church is one of the biggest in Cambodia with over 600 members.  They have several different ministries and outreaches that are helping to spread the gospel throughout Cambodia.  Founded by Americans who have invested the necessary time to learn the Khmer language, they are wanting to get it to the point of being self-sustained by Cambodians, but at the moment it is still largely dependent on outside help.
Our teams our working on some labor projects, including my job which is to sew a bunch of curtains!  My mother might wonder if I am good enough at sewing to do that (I wondered it myself), but I have managed to do a fairly decent job so far…as long as people don’t look too closely at the crooked stitches!  I am enjoying the work, though.  I like projects where I know what is expected of me and I can see the results.
Several of our team members are also working on gathering information for the church’s website and taking photos and videos to update the content on the website.  While that information won’t be uploaded for awhile, anyone who would like to know more about the church and how to pray for it, can still access the current site at www.cambodiaoutreach.org
