September Greetings from Florida! Hurricane season is under way, but let me assure all of you that God is taking care of me. Life at camp is good. I have recently been promoted to a Senior Counselor position, which means a few added responsibilities now and then, but basically it is just another title. I am in my last 8 weeks of the job and looking forward to hopefully participate in the first half of my group’s river trip before I head off to Georgia for my training camp for the World Race. As you can see by the right-hand column, the tentative race route has been decided. I say tentative because while the regions should stay the same, the exact countries may change if AIM feels God is leading us elsewhere or if troubles should arise. I am so excited to have the opportunity to do God’s work in all of these areas!
Fund-raising update
In July, I had the privilege of speaking at the VBS of Third City Christian Church in Grand Island, NE and was once again amazed by God’s provision. The kids raised me $1,055.88! I now have $4,381.88 in my account and another $4,000 in pledges…well on the way to my goal of $13,800. I need to reach this goal by December 21 and 60% of the total ($8,280) needs to actually be in my account and the rest can be in monthly pledges. I whole-heartedly trust that God will continue to supply the means!
Prayer Requests
·The staff and campers at work. (Many do not accept the Gospel of Christ).
·All the participants of the World Race as we raise our support and get ready for the trip. ·That God prepares the hearts of those in the countries I will be visiting. ·All of my family and friends and those partnering with me in this ministry. ·Please continue to pray that God prepares me physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually for this great adventure!

I will continue to mail them out as well, but if you don’t mind receiving them electronically, I’d appreciate it if you would email me and let me know so that I can cut down on postage and put more money towards the trip.
