12/9/09-Today I decided to delete my ABOUT ME. After reading my bio, I decided that was who I used to be…and is not who I am! To be honest, I am not 100% sure enough of who I am to write a page bio. I am looking forward to leaving on The World Race on January 3rd and to begin the exciting yet scary journey that God has presented to me.
I ask that you explore and follow my blogs…and in the next year lets figure out who we are together!
I also deleted my about me because well…for 24 years…ITS BEEN ABOUT ME! Now, at this point…I want it to be about HIM and about the people that I want to inspire hope in. Nothing is going to change in Uganda until the person we see in the mirror changes first!
So, yeah…not sure really who I am just yet…but I can tell you a little about who I think God is. That may give you an idea of who I want to be.
God is the definition of LOVE and Affirmation. He builds up the sick, weak, and discouraged. He is a Father, friend, lover and judge. He picks up little children and wipes their tears. He is selfless and sacrifices. He teaches men HOW to fish and HOW to LEAD. HE FEARS NOTHING and LOVES passionately. He is a God of forgiveness and grace. He inspires, holds, and teaches those that are hopeless.
I can be NONE of these things without God, so let the change begin! ( p.s. Im still a little scared and grieving the person I thought I was…but the Freedom is so CLOSE I can taste it!)
