This past month was so unexpectedly perfect. Everything from the ministry, to the locals we encountered, to the fellow teams that served alongside of us-it all seemed nothing but divinely appointed. After much anticipation & admittedly some anxiety about embarking on this crazy yearlong journey, it was relieving to have a confirming initiation. I am leaving this month more confident, more full of faith, & more ready for change than I could have imagined.
As we leave EL RANCHO, our New Zealand home, my heart is sad. Not only are we leaving behind this beautiful country, but also the incredible people we have had the chance to meet & serve alongside. It is strange how seemingly attached you can feel to a complete stranger after only a mere month of interaction. The staff & families at EL RANCHO have been nothing short of an absolute blessing. Day in & day out they encouraged, supported, taught, loved, & spurred growth. I feel honored to have had opportunities for thought provoking conversations & times of fun fellowship. The people I experienced in New Zealand & specifically at EL RACHNO could certainly never be forgotten. Rob, Jen, Ruth, Rodney, Gavin, Natalie, Jess, Andrew, Sam, Levi, Courtney, Gaynor, etc- you are all wonderful & I will miss you.
Goodbye New Zealand. I shall most definitely return to you.
