Hello Friends! Its time for our monthly update of Thailand, although I am currently in Cambodia! MONTH 10!!!
While in Thailand we worked with a group called The Haven Foundation, this place has a international school, a COC church and The Haven Project which is independently run childrens homes under their umbrella. I got the greart pleasure of working in the international school with the daycare and the foundation/year one class.
While we were there I worked “normal” hours for a teacher. We arrived about 8:45 for worship and prayer, head to the classroom around 9:15 and the school day finished at 3:30. I got the privilage of working with some incrediable people, everyone at Haven is a true inspiration but the staff in that school were something special. While I helped in the daycare I worked with Ms. Jenny, Ms. Karyn, and two Thai girls, when I worked in the foundation/year one class I worked with Ms. West and Ms. Sobey. These women taught me so much in my time there. They love their students so well and truely invest in their lives. Each morning we would pray for their families, for health, and their was even a new baby brother we prayed for!
There were many highlights to this month but the greatest was our last day there, it was a Friday so they had chapel where the hole school comes together to sing songs and have a show-and-tell of their schoolwork. We had finished our songs and our show-and-tell then it was time to pray. All the students that I worked with surrounded me, laid hands on me, and prayed for “a safe and fun time to my next fun place.” It was the most incrediable experience to watch these kids aging from 3-6 pray over me.
Through this experience it just highlighted to me the importance of prayer, we are nothing and can do nothing without prayer. These kids prayed from their hearts, so simply and so beautifully. God knows what we need so there is no need to use fancy works or pray a long time, just speak from your heart.
Many teams worked in the Red Light District of Chiang Mai loving on the girls and the Johns in the bars, although this is a fantastic ministry and I would have loved to participate, I know I was put at Haven for a reason. The way those little ones loved me and I got to love them was incrediable and filled my soul.

This month we are in the bush of Cambodia, no internet, no running,and just us girls. Please pray for my team as we begin this month. I know God has big things for us this month and I cant wait to see what is in store for us! Love you all!
