I have OFFICIALLY met my first goal of needing $5,000 by July 22nd! GOD IS SO GOOD!
I cannot explain how amazing it feels to have made it this far in my fundraising. Committing to this trip was a huge decision for me which came with a lot of fear in whether or not I would be able to come up with all the money and continue to meet the deadlines that felt so out of reach!
What I’ve learned so far during this time is to not have any expectation on who God will put in my path to support me financially. I have received funding from people I would never expect and had doors shut in my face by people I fully expected funding from. I’ve learned to step out in faith and give thanks to Jesus for already providing the entire amount before it’s even come in… (it’s hard believing in something that you cannot see yet, which is what Jesus is all about right?! so Praise the Lord!) And also trusting that He is there, He hears my heart and He is using me to reach others.
I continue to sit in awe of how He is working. Every donation that comes in completely blows my mind and humbles my heart. Thank you so much to everyone who has been praying for me, who has put their trust in my decision to go out and serve the nations in the name of our King Jesus. Thank you, beyond words. I am forever grateful…BUT I am not finished! I have another large deadline coming up quickly. Right now I am about $20 shy of $6,000 and by August 16th, I need $10,000!
- $10,000 – Due 9/16/2016 (Fundraising Goal 2)
- $13,000 – Due 11/30/2016 (Fundraising Goal 3)
- $16,961 – Due 1/31/2017 (Fundraising Goal 4)
If you follow this link…you can choose to support a day out on the mission field, which cost $50. If you are unable to afford that amount, any amount will help. Please prayerfully consider supporting me financially for this trip. I want you all apart of this adventure with me. You also can support me directly through my blog, or by using square cash, venmo, cash if you live near me. Just know, every single donation goes directly toward my trip.
Most importantly, please continue to pray for me.
We can do this!
