Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
Hebrews 11:7 “By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet see, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.”
Hebrews 11:8 “By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.”
Hebrews 11:29 “By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned.”
Hebrews 11:30 “By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the army had marched around them for seven days.”
The most important and common denominator in these passages is FAITH.
Out of absolute blind faith, God moved in the most incredible ways.
Fundraising requires a TON of faith, and I say that in the most serious way. You have to completely rely on the Lord that he will provide every last cent you need. That’s hard, especially for me. I do better when I have some hold on the situation, an idea of what’s happening, a feel for what’s going on. When you’re trusting the Lord, it’s all hands OFF deck.
There’s no easy or comfortable way to ask people for money, other than to just come right out and say it. I have seen people respond in ways I never imagined. People I never expected to reach out to me financially, have supported me. God is moving in amazing ways, and I want you all to be apart of it.
I boldly ask for you to prayerfully consider financially supporting me. I am a college student, and I fully understand when funds are tight, I live by that. But when you’re giving for the Glory of God, for His message to be spread to the masses, it’s much greater than any of us or any stress or worry we have about our financial situations. He will provide for you, and I know he will provide for me.
I have thanked the Lord already for the entirety of my funds before they even come in. I have that much faith that He will support me through all of you, however you feel called. Allow Him to lead you.
Here are my deadlines for a better understanding of where I stand and where I need to be…
- $150 Deposit – Due 2 weeks after your acceptance date: Met Goal!
- $5,000 – Due 7/22/2016 (Fundraising Goal 1)…Almost there!
- $10,000 – Due 9/16/2016 (Fundraising Goal 2)
- $13,000 – Due 11/30/2016 (Fundraising Goal 3)
- $16,961 – Due 1/31/2017 (Fundraising Goal 4)
These are big goals, but absolutely doable because I am entirely dependent on Jesus.
One incredibly brilliant way to give is to Adopt-A-Day. For just $50 you will cover the cost of my entire day while out on the race. $100 will cover 2 days, $350 will cover an entire week, and for $1,550 you will cover an entire month of living out on the mission field! The best part is, when you pick a day, or a week, or a month, I will send you a video telling you exactly how your money helped enhance the Kingdom of God and supported me!

As He says in Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” I can’t see the financial support yet, I don’t know who this will reach, but I am confident in who Jesus is and the power He has.
I love you all so much, and am beyond grateful for your constant support and prayers during this time. I have such an amazing support system and I can’t do this without you all. Continue to pray for my journey through fundraising, my heart as it grows stronger in love and understanding for Jesus, my emotions as they are all over the place, especially right now in the busiest season of my life.
Share my journey with your friends, family, coworkers, whoever you think this might touch. God is active and is always moving, allow him to move in your life in the way he’s moving in mine.
I will walk in complete faith and trust in my God who is alive and active in my life and will provide all of my needs according to the riches in Christ Jesus!
