I’m going on the World Race in September 2012.

Talk about dream come true for me! God has led me to this point, and since July of 2011 when I found out about this, I’ve known without a doubt that this is the next step on the path He’s taking me on.
How do I know without a doubt, you ask?
This type of trip is something I’ve always wanted to do but never had the chance to do it. I went from high school to college to internship to full-time job and never took a year off in-between like you hear of most people doing.
And I always wondered why. But now I know that this is what God has had in store for me all along. It’s scary and intimidating and going to be challenging and probably heart-breaking, yet I know the reward is so much bigger, and I would 110% regret it if I didn’t go.
So I go. I felt God tell me, “Take my hand and follow me” on the World Race. I know this is a stepping stone for me, to equip and prepare me for a future in full-time missions. I know God has it all figured out. I’m nowhere close to being ready for this, good enough, or anything. It’s all about Jesus. I can’t wait to shine His love around the world and hug on His children and bring His smile to the hard and hurting places of the world where love isn’t and is desperately needed.
I'm excited, because my heart is for missions and one of my dreams that has been deepening within the past few years is to travel the world for missions and write about it. My dream is beginning to unfold, but it's just the beginning.
