Instead of making 2 posts for basically the same thing I decided to overlook my b-day and consolidate it into one post.
So come July I’m leaving for this ridiculously crazy, ridiculously amazing mission trip. God is going to lead myself and about 50 other individuals across the world from July to the following June solely purpose of bringing the love of Christ to everyone we meet. We are going to help the “least of these”, the poor, forgotten, and sick as God teaches us how to truly love and gives us a healthy dose of perspective and brokenness. I’ll be leaving my home, bed, friends, family, air conditioning, and all you can eat sushi at Cathay’s and packing all I’ll need for the year into a backpack.
Problem.
I don’t have a backpack. I don’t have any camping equipment either and I need a little help coming up with the things I’ll need. I’ve made a list of essentials such as backpack, sleeping bag, etc… with a couple non-essentials that would help bring a slight bit of comfort like a pillow, a hammock, and a mosquito net (everywhere we are going has mosquitoes

If anyone would like to donate an item through the wish list or if you happen to have anything like what is listed and don’t use it anymore and want to loan it out just let me know! If you would like to purchase through the wish list just shoot me an email or text or however you want to get ahold of me and let me know so that I can remove it. I would advise shopping around as prices can vary by a bit between stores!
Another problem.
This calling is going to cost just over 16,200$ and to date I have roughly 2000$. I am hoping and praying that I can get everything covered before I leave in July (I only need half that amount to launch, the rest is due by the following January) so that I can focus completely doing God’s work and pouring myself into those around me and not stressing about fundraising while not in the country haha. So in honor of my recent 25th birthday (I can rent a car. Yay. My life is forever changed.) I’m asking that if God is placing it on your heart to support me in this endeavor to donate just 25$ or some multiple of 25$ but really any amount that you feel led to give is helpful. I dont even know you, I may know you anonymous but still, and you guys are supporting financially in a huge way!! But more important than all of that, I need prayers! Big time! Every donation counts but prayer can and will do more than any donation! Prayer is SO powerful! I know God is going to provide everything that I’ll need to accomplish the task He has set before me and I’m praying that he does so through you! So I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you in advance. I love you guys and I need your support and words of encouragement. Agreeing to answer God’s calling does not make me Superman, I’m still just me. And I need you guys now more than ever and I’ll need you even more once I actually leave so just want you guys to know how much your love and encouragement means not only to myself but to every racer!
