So I guess I'm really bad at getting blogs out but here's an update on where we are in month 3! (Yes, it's month 3 already!)

We are currently in our second week of ministry here in Trujillo, Peru.  We took 2 very long bus rides to get here and in between those, my backpack was stolen at the bus station we were waiting at.  It was a bit of a rough start to the month, but God has big plans for us here and we're excited about that.

We have been partnering with a church here, really just helping them with whatever they need us to do.  We have done a lot of paiting to the inside and outside of the church, painted little kids' chairs and tables, and Jeremy has helped with concrete for a wall to another room they're putting on the back of the church.  We've also had the opportunity to participate in VBS for kids and cell groups that the church has during the week.  Last Friday we attended 2 different cell groups and Jeremy and I were split up because they needed Spanish speakers in each group.  So, along with my teammate Sarah, I translated for the group…testimonies and all!!!  I'm not fluent at all, but I was obedient in doing what I could and God did the rest.  We were able to communicate and were blessed to be a part of that group.

So once again this is a month of demonstrating Jesus through service.  Painting chairs is not always the most fun, but knowing that little kids will come to this church, sit in those chairs, and learn about Him is totally worth it.  So we will continue to be faithful in the areas we are serving and sharing the love of Jesus with everyone we meet because that's what this really is all about.

***We just want to say thank you to all of you for your continual prayers.  We've both definitely felt them, especially these last 2 weeks! Please keep them coming!
