"Faith isn't just a word its a way of life!"
I woke up this morning thinking to my-self that I need to have more faith! Instead of allowing God to do what he does best love and provide for us, I have been trying to do everything in my own strength. The process of preparing for the World Race has shown me that the life of a missionary requires complete faith! I've also learned that I need to spend good quality time with God and if I don't, I and up allowing all my fears and worries to drown out my faith. It's definitely a learning process. I believe this trip is going to stretch me emotionally and spiritually and I can't wait to see how God is going to do it. Even in the last few months I have been stretched a lot! Through support raising, blogging, public speaking and prayer! I'm constantly reminded that if I have faith in God, nothing is impossible.
I found a lot of great scripture on faith and thought I would share with you.
Hebrews 11:1 Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.
Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God's command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.
Romans 10: 17 So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good New about Christ.
Matthew 17:20 "You don't have enough faith," Jesus told them, " I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.*"
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; It is the gift of God.
2 Corinthians 5:7 We live by faith, not by sight.
Please keep me in your prayers as I grow in faith and prayer, this next year.
God Bless
