FULLY FUNDED!!
This blog is dedicated to all my supporters. There are many ways I would like to thank you for sowing into the Kingdom by sending me on this 11 month journey. To start I want to give a recap of the past 7 months and show how your gifts of prayer and finances have made huge impacts around the globe!
We were able to serve with a pastor in a small village and help with the construction of what will be a conference house for missionaries and pastors from all over the country to come and be poured into, taught biblical foundations and hold youth conferences.
Month 2- Honduras
We spent this month building onto the Zion’s Gate ministry for street boys and going door to door in the village praying for the sick, poor and loving the children while sharing the gospel
Month 3- Nicaragua
This month was spent on the volcanic island of Ometepe. We lived life right along side an orphanage. We helped in the garden taking are of the vegetables that provided the nutrients for the children, had daily activities with the kids, and took part in the church services and planning youth nights for the older children.
Month 4- Philippines
My team was unsung heroes in the Philippines. We served adventures in missions by exploring the country seeking Gods guidance in finding new contacts and ministries that would host future world race teams. We were able to find places where there are now currently world racers serving and were so blessed by finding brothers and sisters who are dedicated to serving the Kingdom at all costs.
Month 5- Thailand
Immersed greatly into the Asian culture, here my team served along side a children’s home that took in Burmese refugees. We taught them English and had bible studies and sports days with the kids. We had many prayer walks along the Burmese and Thai border and through the city of Mai Sot where the majority of the people are either Muslim or Buddhist. We also spent a week up in the mountains of Mai la Noi traveling from school to school running VBS programs for the children.
Month 6- Cambodia
One of my favorite months on the race ! We lived out in the middle of rice fields with a beautiful village. We worked with light of hope ministry teaching English to the children in the village and building relationships with the boys who lived at the home. We were able to cook and put in a Christmas celebration for over 200 children and give them all gifts, while sharing with them for the first one the true meaning of Christmas.
We were able to help the community harvest rice in the fields and have many nights if worship under the stars with the boys who lived at the home.
Month 7- Vietnam
Vietnam was a month of playing ๐ yup that’s right we got to spend lots of our time with children in multiple orphanages, loving them through games, singing, laughing, blowing bubbles, celebrating birthdays and giving hugs ๐ we worked with special needs children and were able to paint a study room for the children.
Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.
Matt 25:45
All of these things would not have been the same without you guys ! THANK YOU SO MUCH ๐
