The Garden.
This month at the childrens home we have had an opportunity to work in a huge garden. This garden is what provides all the nutrients for the kids and workers here on the island. It amazes me to see all the beautiful fruit and vegetables that come from a little care and hard work. God taught me so much this month in spending time in this beautiful place. As people we can relate in many ways to plants.

– when u are thirsty u need something to drink.
– the sun is great for you and can lift you up but to such sun can leave you hurt.
– the things you surround yourself with can either maintain who you are or start to change the way you feel, act and look
– if you are not putting into your life all the things you need and deserve, your foundation will be weak – if you don’t maintain a healthy living environment you will start to die on the inside and soon the outside won’t look that pretty either
– when you have people in your life who care about the root issues, you will feel loved and cared for.

“And as the sower went out to sow, some seeds fell along the path and the birds came and devoured them. Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil, and immediately they sprung up, since they has no depth of soil, but when the sun rose they were scorched. And since they had no root they withered away. Other seeds fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them. Other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He who has ears let him hear. “- Matthew 13:3-9
