2 weeks ago our teams were involved in a ministry called take it to the streets. Our task was to stand on the side of the road dance around playing loud music and do anything to draw attention to ourselves.

We were trying to draw a crowd so that we can hand out candy to kids and pray for the sick and anyone who wanted it. Our speaker wasn't working so I grabbed a large water jug and a big sick to hit it with. The noise was load and I was swinging at full force until I hit what was not the water jug but Haleighs hand.

After sitting outside the hospital for a few hours waiting for her to come out praying for a miracle she walked out with a slip for pain medication and a cast. I couldn't help but feel horrible for being the cause and that she would not be able to take part in all the ministry opportunities for awhile

The Lord was teaching Haleigh to rest and allow people to serve her when she is usually the one being the servant. He was teaching me to pray and trust in Him that his plan his timing and his power is perfect.

On Sunday we went to church and it had been 7 days since she went to the hospital. That morning she had woken up with a sore hand and fingers still swollen. The service was on healing and the power and authority we have when we speak the word of the Lord. After the service we prayed and the Lord did a Miracle

Mark 9: 23 “All things are possible for the one who believes “

We left Honduras after having a 24 hour prayer room for the Country, this trip, our friends and family back home, and even after 2 hours of sleep I felt so refreshed and ready to continue.

It is crazy to think that we are already on month three! Our Squad is in the beautiful city of Granada for the next few days having a time of rest debrief and pouring into form our squad leaders and mentors who have flown in. Hot doesn’t even describe the climate here in Nicaragua but I said I would never complain since I will take the heat over the Canadian winter any day J

Here is a video recap of some of our month in Honduras. Thanks to my talented teammate Sophia for putting it all together.

God Bless!!
