Tony and his wife Nidia have started and organization that is built around community, love, discipleship and simply living life. They have a piece of property called Zion's Gate which is their home and you could say they have over 20 people in there family. Some of the most beautiful people live here and its a wonderful picture of what the family of Christ should look like. They have come from the united states the Europe and the streets of Honduras to create a discipleship program that is building amazing foundations in teenage boys and girls lives.
The freedom that I have felt since being here is indescribable and the amount of peace and joy that comes from this "home" I have here this month is awesome. There are no gates because the hope is that everyone is welcome and will be drawn to this place. Tony and Nidia welcome the kids that no one would want to be around that are already addicts at young ages and to say they have nothing to give would be a lie. They bring so much joy and laughter into my life. You will never go a day without getting atleast 20 hugs and feeling loved and part of a family. Everyday is a new day and different from yesterday. Tomorrow isn't worried about and yesterday only brings a smile to my face.
We live together as one big family and stop to seize every moment because that is the most important part of your day. Whether creating a path so that the community can walk right through the property to feel welcome, visiting the local hospital, cleaning my ears our from getting to many wet whillies and going to love the widows and pray for the sick in the community, each moment is the best moment of my day.
Everyone lives together in one big house and are a true vision of what family should look like . Though the material items are few in the house it is SO rich in other ways. They show each other the love of Christ through so much love, selflessness, sharing, and being joyful always. They give each other the attention every situation deserves and lives are continually being transformed. Many of these boys have been saved not just because they have a new safe place to stay but because they are introduced to the love of God as soon as they walk into Zion's Gate.

11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
