When planning for a trip it can be really hard to stay focused on the present day and not have all of your prayers and time with the Lord spent on plans for the future. This past week I read a great part of the word that really stressed the importance of the current hour and after realizing the closeness of the day of Salvation I was convicted in what I have been doing daily with my time spent for the Lord. This blog will most likely be the most vulnerable one I will post this far as it is a part of my personal journaling and quiet time with the Lord. What I am going to share is my thoughts and prayers written out on paper while I was speaking with the Lord and it is very much spontaneous. The grammer will be horrible and the sentences will run on but I feel lead to share and hope that this will be an encouragment to even just one person reading this especially members of my upcoming squad. After writing out this prayer to the Lord I immediatly felt peace that He holds my present days in His hands and all I have right now is this day as an offering to HIm. BE ENCOURAGED !
11 Besides this you know what [a critical] hour this is, how it is high time now for you to wake up out of your sleep (rouse to reality). For salvation (final deliverance) is nearer to us now than when we first believed (adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Christ, the Messiah).12 The night is far gone and the day is almost here. Let us then drop (fling away) the works and deeds of darkness and put on the [full] armor of light.13 Let us live and conduct ourselves honorably and becomingly as in the [open light of] day, not in reveling (carousing) and drunkenness, not in immorality and debauchery (sensuality and licentiousness), not in quarreling and jealousy.14 But clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature] to [gratify its] desires (lusts)- Romans 13:11-14 (Amplified)

Lord I give you this day and let all my praise and thanks be to you.Thank you for allowing me to see more clearly the need for a well functioning body of Christ and to know that accountability and hardwork make up huge parts of that body. I know that discipline is needed in my life and that i need to surround myself at this time with stong women of faith. For I am only a small child and am still on spiritual milk and not solid food.
Create in me a free heart God and a steadfast love for you and you alone! Help me to love everyone and love your word. Let me see people through radiant eyes and your beautiful heart. To not judge or gossip because you are the only one who will judge when the day of your return comes .
Overflow within me a river of joy and I thank you for your overwhelming peace in my life. Help me to recongnize temptation and to shut the door on it. Thank you that you give forgiveness for my sins and my part no longer dictates my future with you ! In your presence there is freedom. You and freed me from guilt, shame, pain, ridicule, bondage, distraction and filth. My flesh has been stripped down by the cross your son bore and all that remains is you alone.
You are my resting place, my safe shelter to take refuge and my strong hold against the destroyer. Your are love pouring out of me and the hands holding me back from selfish talk and deeds. Your truth keeps my heart humble and your mercy carries me when im not. Failure after failure you heal my broken heart and say " Come to me my daughter. Come into this place where you are loved and seen as a precious jewel. Come home ! "
In the times when I feel heavy, defeated, weighed down and ashamed you are faithful. You took my burdens, guilt,hardships and sadness and made me feel lighter than a feather. That is grace that can not be put into words but only explained now by my life lived out. Let my life be an offerering of love to you Lord and let me freely give because of what you have allowed me to receive.
What better King would I rather serve than the one who has layed down his life to save me. No one else deserves my worship or praise. Let me fix my eyes on you and devote my attention to this day, not worrying about tomorrow. My race has already started and it is by faith that I have energy to move my feet. I give you this day Father, for you have given me true life. Let eyes be opened, ears hear and hearts be moved in the encounters I will have today and let there be plenty of adoptions into your Kingdom. With a growing of this beautiful family you call the body.
With my own understanding my vision is blury, my ears only hear muffled sounds and my feet move in all the wrong directions. But with my trust in you I see crystal clear, my hearing in crisp and patient, and I walk in a straight path of righteousness.
Lord I give you this day and hand over the wheel and the tools to you. It is only by your hands that the pottery which is my life and body can fully be crafted into the beauty that you have designed for it to be. Lord I give you this day Father have your way with me.
