In Eastern Europe it is common to see stray dogs all over the place. Last month really affected me seeing them in Romania. There were so many. They didn’t have somebody to love them or feed them. They were mean to one another and sometimes us. They were hungry and afraid and you could tell they have lived a rough life. Broken. It made me really sad to see and I wanted to rescue all of them. My heart hurt so bad for them.

You are probably wondering why I am talking about dogs while I am on a mission trip to bring people to the Lord?? Well, while walking one day God brought it to my attention how I was feeling for the dogs he feels watching us but to an extent I can’t imagine. It makes him so sad to see us alone, afraid, hungry, mean to one another, hopeless, and without love. He wants us so badly to come to him with all of it so he can hold us in his arms and comfort us no matter where we are. I can’t rescue all of the stray dogs of the world but the Lord can rescue all of us and that is what he so badly desires. He can give us love, protection, peace, courage, strength, and all of things we aren’t finding in the world. We just have to invite him in.

This photo is of Lenny. He is one of the local stray dogs in Varna. My team and I have grown to love him! He is so cute and sweet. He so badly wants to be loved and some food lol. But he has touched all of our hearts!!!!

We are in Varna Bulgaria and leave for Kosovo next week. I can’t believe it has been 3 months!! I am still behind in my fundraising so if you would like to help me out it would be much appreciated!!!!
