A few months ago, I received a glorious surprise in my Inbox.
By the generous spirit within her, Laurie Chandler, asked to include me in one of her passions – Storytelling.
She has spent time in her past traveling and living life alongside diverse people groups and works tirelessly to support loved ones in her life. An endeavor that she has recently taken on, is running a small business in partnership with Origami Owl. A jewelry line that specializes in individuality and storytelling.
Origami Owls are keepsake necklaces that can be customized right down to the rhinestone.
This item of jewelry begins with a “locket” of sorts that can be likened to a watch face that is clear all the way through. Inside this keepsake necklace, charms are accumulated — tokens rich with sentimental value and personal history.
In hopes of sharing my story, I have been offered the opportunity to select 5 charms to tell you about my travels and the lessons I’ve learned along the way.
Spending time evaluating the growth I’ve experienced on this mission trip, I have learned that there are very distinct symbols that represent who I have become and who I long to be.
For those that know me well, this is so exciting and right in line with my artistic heart!
