We made it to Jamaica without any problems! Whoo hoo! We had about a 3 hour drive after we landed. We are at a beautiful location about 20 min outside of Mandeville. So far, our time here at Stone’s Hope has been full of teaching classes, office work, leading devotions, attending youth group, housekeeping, gardening and helping in the kitchen. This next week we will be doing street ministry in which we will hand out food to those who live on the streets and also pray and encourage them. We also have the opportunity to go to another school and teach there.
Here is a link to the Passport Jamaica blog. http://jamaica.adventures.org/ There are two Passport teams (both with YWAM but in different locations, we’re team 2) in Jamaica and both teams will be posting on here throughout our time here. So if you want to hear more about what God is teaching us and what God is doing here in Jamaica then I recommend signing up to receive an email every time there is a new post. I will try my best to keep posting on this blog, but I have already been really busy and my wifi access is very limited.

All 11 of us!

Our view from our porch.
Our house is that building on the left out there.
Please pray for strength, wisdom and discernment. Also, pray that I would rest. Resting isn’t easy for me especially when there is always something I can be doing.
And please pray for the team, that they would continue to allow God to work in their hearts. They all have such a huge desire to serve, be changed and see God at work here in Jamaica!
