Hello everybody! Just a little update and a HUGE prayer request.

This Friday and Saturday, I have my final exam in my first course at the Kentucky School of Ministry. I would appreciate ALL of your prayers. I have only had three weeks to prepare and do the study guide which had almost 100 answers to fill in. That’s ok though, I’m pretty good at memorizing Scriptures, so I am just looking at it like that.

I have to tell you, this has been a five year dream for me, school and ministry together that is. It never ceases to amaze me how God will open the doors to your heart and pour his provision in it.

I have a long way to go, but at least I am on my way. God is for me, so I know great things will come to pass. I love to study the Word of God. I have attempted college at SFCC in the past. I did pretty well, but still did not complete it with a degree. That’s ok too. I learned a lot and have even applied tons of it to my life today, especially English. Part of my job description is to edit  the District Secretary’s letters and notes. Hahahahaha, I actually do very well. I shred his papers! The office joke is “staying consistent with your highlighter.” You have to be there to get that one…

A few years ago, I saw this little whatnot. It was in the dollar tree obviously costing only a dollar. It spoke to me. It still speaks to me, and maybe it will speak to you too.

I don’t know “exactly” what my dream in life is. For the most part it is just to simply remain passionate for Jesus, but there is so much more to it than that! I have some thougts and even have had a lot of people speak into my life about preaching/teaching/public speaking. I really do believe that God has placed a huge call on my life, one that will consist of conferences both National and International. I get excited to think about this!!!! My heart starts beating very rapidly!!! WOOHOO!!!

This is where the whatnot comes into play. If you will, it motivates me. A whole dollar and a simple thought stimulates, encourages, and inspires me beyond most things (except my Bibles) that I have in my house. In fact, it is one of the VERY FEW things I did not get rid of while selling my possessions to follow Jesus.

So, having said all that, here it is. My own personal teddy bear and dream come true…

aaahhhh, isn’t he cute. Notice the books too.

I do not know what life holds for me, especially after all that has changed in just a few months (the world race, and not the world race… Kentucky…), but I do know who holds me! He is my Father!!! Even what I am doing now could change at the blink of an eye… RAPTURE!!!

Please do not give up on your dream(s). God is STILL there for you. Again, I am still “learning” what that means for me, Jennifer, but I vow to always remain a good, faithful, and teachable student!!

Listen to my FAVORITE verse from the message translation:

I

will
show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.” Jer 29:11

I LOVE AND MISS YOU ALL!
