Hello Family & Friends,
I wanted to thank all of you who have been faithfully supporting me both prayerfully and financially.
The Lord has blessed me so much on this journey, and I cannot continue to fulfill His calling without the support of people like ya’ll! I have been overwhelmed by your generosity! I love to hear from each one of you. Your phone calls, emails, and the words of encouragement I hear through talking with my parents back home give me strength to persevere. I am learning so much about God (refer to the blog I posted a few days ago “What is important in life…” and “Longing for Heaven“). I cannot wait to return and tell you of all the things I have seen and experienced while being on this journey. Through your support, I have been able to encourage people around the world in Christ, and I have been able to share the love of Jesus to the nations.
I want to encourage those of you who have been faithful in supporting me to continue to do so. I still have a little ways to go to meet my goal. I have reached the point of being funded enough to complete the journey, but I still need about $2,000 in order for me to be fully funded for other costs including shots, medicines, and travel costs. If you’d like to make a donation and have not already, you can click on the “Support Me” link to the left of this blog and donate whatever amount you’d like.
I want to thank you for being willing to give so that others can see Jesus. The prayers that all of you have been offering on my behalf have been generously answered. We will soon be traveling to Africa and crossing the halfway point of the race. It is hard to believe that time is flying by! The plan at this point is to spend December in Swaziland helping with an orphanage there, Christmas in South Africa, and then go to either Malawi or Mozambique for January. February will be a time for us to do ATL (ask the Lord) ministry – either returning to a previous ministry or going to a new ministry contact within those countries we’ve already visited in Africa. We will then be off to Europe!
Thank you all for your love and support. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas, and keep reading my blogs and leaving comments. (I love comments!)
