Wow! I can’t believe it. 2:22pm my flight leaves from Augusta tomorrow (June 28). I am working on final preparations for leaving and sorting through a mixture of emotions. I’ve been all over this week saying goodbyes to friends, shopping, packing, and trying to calm my nerves. It is a lot of work to get prepared to leave for 11 months. I am going to miss everyone so much!
Yesterday I had to get another round of a hepatitis shot. I’ve had at least 7 shots by now in my arms, so I’m used to it, or so I thought. This shot had to go in my butt, and well, I passed out in the reception area of the doctor’s office. Ouch! It hurt so bad. I was limping for the rest of the day. God has been teaching me through all these preparations that He is the sustainer and it is only by His grace that I’m able even to have another day to live. I’ve been enjoying each day since I’ve been home!
I have worked on getting an internet phone number so that ya’ll can keep in touch with me. The number is: (803)753-7798. It is a local SC number that will reach me anywhere in the world as long as I am on my computer. If you call and I don’t answer, send me an email and I’ll get in touch when I can. Also, if you have skype, you can call and leave me a voicemail. Skype is a free download and skype to skype calls are free. (www.skype.com) my skype name is jenniferleverett. I can also keep in touch over email and comments on this blog.
I love ya’ll! God is good and faithful and I hope to see everyone soon!
