(Thank you, BP, for letting me steal your blog yet again. I can officially claim all these things because we were together ALL YEAR!! WOO! πŸ™‚

That’s right friends, I’m officially back in the States. It’s so surreal. I have been experiencing some culture shock already… as I was actually able to FLUSH my toilet paper in the Dallas airport, wash my hands with WARM WATER, and drink out of the water fountain. Oh, and I had to keep stopping myself from speaking Spanish to all the airport employees. We’re not in Central America anymore, Jenny. That’s just the beginning of the changes I’ve been experiencing… and I know there’s many more to come. Oh Lord, give me grace!

I’m in San Diego right now, visiting family and friends for a few days before flying home to MA on Monday morning (the 16th). I’m SO EXCITED to see my family! I’ll only be there for a few days before flying to Atlanta from May 19th to the 29th to help out at the World Race training camp… I’m so excited for a mini-reunion with some of my O-squad family. πŸ™‚ The rest of June will be spent relaxing, visiting, and catching up with people in MA so let me know if you’ll be around. πŸ™‚ I start working at the summer feeding program (Food, Friends, and Fun) on June 27th and will be there until the end of August. In the fall I’m hoping to lead a Real Life trip with AIM but I’m still waiting to hear back on that. It’s all in God’s hands, all in His timing. I trust you, Lord. πŸ™‚

So… even though the race is over, I think I’m going to continue blogging. It helps to process through things… which we all know I need to do. πŸ™‚ So yea, expect more from me at some point. I’d love to give you all a short compilation of what the Lord has done this year in each country, if I can actually sit down and write it out. Hold me accountable. πŸ™‚

I just wanted to THANK each one of you for your continued and abundant support, encouragement, love, and PRAYERS over the past year. I am deeply humbled and grateful for all you have done. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

I love you guys and will hopefully see many of you soon. God is good. REJOICE in Him always. πŸ™‚
