Let me share a quick story about how wonderful God is! Month nine of the race is our ATL (Ask the Lord) Asia month
where we get to pray as a team about where we feel like God is leading
us and then go to that country. So exciting! We had been praying for
about a week and were all getting different countries from the Lord.
Right before we left Pattaya (Thailand) we decided to have a period of 24-hour prayer at the PHOP
(Pattaya House of Prayer – located right in the middle of a strip of
bars and prostitution. Talk about bringing the LIGHT into the
darkness… this place is so legit!)

This period of 24-prayer was phenomenal. It started out with Craig and Sherri (our missionary friends from Canada) praying and prophesying over each member of our team individually. Three hours later we were all in awe of the ways God was moving. Wow… it was an incredibly anointed, powerful, and divine time to say the least. Tears were shed, the Holy Spirit fell, and some exciting things were called out/ spoken into for each of our lives. I’m still processing everything that happened in that prayer room so stay tuned for more on all of this at a later date. But basically, God IS SO RIDICULOUSLY GOOD!!! He knows exactly what we need and is faithful to provide… in ways far beyond what we ever thought possible. Oh man, I love Jesus. 🙂

So yea, we were praying up a storm when we decided to talk about where we
were all at in terms of hearing from the Lord about a country for our
ATL month. We were still all over the place and each getting different countries. Ok, this calls for some serious, focused prayer,
we thought. So we decided to take the next hour to pray specifically
that God would speak to each one of us individually about the country
we’re supposed to go to. We prayed that we would all get the same
country – that there would be crazy confirmation in the Spirit.

So we prayed. And journaled. And prayed. And prayed some more. And
after an hour we decided that we would all shout the country we felt
like God had revealed to each one of us on the count of three. Aye, we
were nervous. Some of us closed our eyes. Some of us held our breath.
But we did it. In that prayer room, on Christmas Eve, we sat around as a
circle of girls desperate to hear the Lord’s voice and be obedient to
wherever He called. We were walking in faith. One, two, three, we said… and then God showed up.

We all said the SAME COUNTRY at the SAME EXACT TIME! AHHHH!!!
It was so exciting! It was wild. It was insane. It was intense. We all started freaking
out… beating drums, running around the room, getting chills, crying…
yea. We went nuts. But it was all for the Lord and because of His
goodness to us.

So yea, we know where we’re going for our ATL month! Praise Jesus! We’re
still working on a contact but if God is faithful to provide thus far
He is certainly going to carry us through; after all, that’s His
character!
Just as a heads up… we’re going to a closed, Communist country and therefore won’t be able to post details about where we are or who we’re working with for safety reasons. It’s going to be pretty intense but I’m pumped… just keep the prayers coming. 🙂 Thanks everyone!

Jesus is the best Christmas present ever… and being able to
clearly hear HIS voice as a unified team was pretty sweet as well. Thanks Papa! 🙂

“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?
If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your
children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit
to those who ask him!
