So my teammate Dan makes a cribs video for every place we stay so for those of you who aren’t subscribed to every single one of my teammates blogs I’ll start posting them so you can share in the excitement.
Just a quick update before I release this amazing film, our team has moved from the capital to Niksic. It’s about half the size of the capital and in the mountains so it’s a bit colder. The weather is just like fall in MN so I love it. Holland and I will be making our own cribs for Niksic because we are currently staying with a newlywed couple from the church in their flat while the others stay with the pastor’s family. Get excited…you’ll get to see our amazing bunk beds!! The couple we’re staying with are both 25 and help out with worship and leading the young adult group for their church. They are incredible people and I can’t wait to be able to get to know them better.
As far as we know, we’ll be helping teach English and as well as just hanging out with people so they can practice their English. We’ll also be helping people in the community “winterize” their houses…stacking firewood, canning and preserving (which I am SO excited about), and some other stuff that I don’t know.
God has been providing us with so much since we got to Montenegro and we’ve been blessed to not only have places to stay and ministries to do but also make some incredible friendships. The people in Montenegro are amazing individuals with incredible hearts and it has been such a joy to be able to meet and develop relationships with so many of them.
