“When the LORD brought back the captives to Zion,
       we were like men who dreamed.

 Our mouths were filled with laughter,
       our tongues with songs of joy.
       Then it was said among the nations,
       “The LORD has done great things for them.”

  The LORD has done great things for us,
       and we are filled with joy.

 Restore our fortunes, O LORD,
       like streams in the Negev.

 Those who sow in tears
       will reap with songs of joy.

  He who goes out weeping,
       carrying seed to sow,
       will return with songs of joy,
       carrying sheaves with him.” Psalm 126

tears and pain

thank you Jesus for taking the blame

As I think about life and all the tears cried

many tears were for me

and what I wanted and my will to be

I surrender all to you Jesus

Your will be done

Please give me eyes to see and ears to hear

The pain that you endured for my sins

unable to grasp

undeserving

I accept

and

repent

I tried it on my own

And now the tears I cry are through new eyes

For your kingdom to come

your will be done

on earth as it is in heaven

The tears I cry are yours

my heart is yours

my life is yours

Your tears are falling on the land

over the people

 touching hearts

changing lives

the love that first changed me.
