Last April, I wrote a blog about my fellow World Racer, Kara… at that time she was in need of financial support in order to finish the year. I wrote it not only because she had become a vital member of our squad and losing her would have been awful…but it was also because she had become a dear friend, whose fire and passion for the Lord I admired; thus, i sent out a call to all of my blog readers to help her stay out on the field. Well, God sure did show off!! Within 4 weeks, Kara was fully supported! It was amazing how God provided!! She was able to finish all 11 months free of financial stress…and we were sure glad of that because this small, but bold woman of God impacted the world for the Kingdom of God this past year!
I write again tonight, because Kara finds herself again following the call of the Lord into service. This time she will stay state side and continue to work with Adventures in Missions. Starting in March, Kara will join the AIM team in Georgia to help mobilize those going out on the field. Missionaries cannot do what they do without the support of those at home and this time Kara is being asked to be that support!! BUT- in order to do so…she too will need support 🙂
I believe in Kara and i believe in the work that the Lord is calling her to do with AIM, and so i send this out to ask you, my blog readers to consider financially supporting Kara, either with a one time donation or with a monthly contribution for the next 6 months. (March – Aug). PLEASE consider using your tithe money each month for the next half year to support a sister!
