H Squad is on our way to Africa!! We have been in Asia for 3 months- learning how to function, minister, get around in, and eat in Asia…but as the world race goes, it is time to move on. It is time to learn a completely different part of the world, and i am excited!
I send this with the request for MUCH prayer! We are a big group and getting from one continent another will certainly be an adventure 🙂 Our first country is Mozambique…where my team, along with 3 other teams will be working with Iris Ministries. This ministry is run by Rolland and Heidi Baker…if any of you know this name, you are smiling big right now 🙂 Heidi has had an amazing impact in the country of Mozambique for decades now, working mostly with thousands of orphans. This past summer i read one of her books, Always Enough, and was astounded and inspired by the testimonies of how the Lord did miracle after miracle through her and her husband. We are in for a real treat being a part of something that is led by the Holy Spirit and blessed by the Father.
This month we will also come up on our half way mark! This brings many feelings…many of which just need encouragement to press through the second half. So any sort of encouarging comment or email would really be appreciated!! I miss home terribly…despite loving this year of seeing the world.
